Bright Academy, a unit of JECT, is an English Medium Co-educational School to be affiliated CBSE (New Delhi), whose prime patrons were Late Mr. Bishweshwar Singh Roy, Retired Teacher, St. Xavier’s School, SBG, Late Mr. Tapan Kumar Bandhopadhyay, Social Worker & a great Musician and Mr. Bhubaneswar Singharay, Senior Advocate at The High Court at Kolkata. They realized the demand of the day and inaugurated Bright Academy in the year 2001.  The school is run by Jhumur Educational & Charitable Trust, Registration number being IV-00172 of 2014. The responsibility of the day administration of the school is vested in the principal. The Governing Body looks after the overall management, and is concerned with the finance, general welfare and laying of board educational policies. It receives no Government Aid, hence fee is the only source of income. Therefore, fee has to be adjusted from time to time to keep up with the rising price index and salaries. Ten percent (10%) annual increase in the Tuition Fee or any other fee is considered normal.
